History
Inspired by Love Poet Rumi
Casa Rumi is named after one of the world’s most revered love poets. Born in Persia in the 13th Century, Rumi’s timeless classics make him one of today’s most popular poets. Poems by Rumi have been translated into many different languages including Spanish. Rumi’s funeral, which lasted 40 days, was attended by Muslims, Persians, Christians and Greeks, his appeal reaching across all religious, ethnic and social divisions. “My religion,” says Rumi, “is Love.”
Inspired by Rumi, this casa is a romantic honeymoon suite on the bay with its exotic cupolas over every room and its views of the ocean. “Love,” says Rumi, “is an endless ocean with no beginning and no end.” Come be inspired by the third floor of Villa Poema de Amor.
“My heart has burned with passion
and has searched forever
for this wondrous beauty
that I now behold.” — Rumi
